June is just about over! What a crazy month this has been for me! I still cannot believe that I launched my own blog this month! This month I have also learned a lot about myself, who my friends are, and my employment life.

Here is a list of things I have been loving in the month of June!

My Happy List

1:35 PM Unknown 2 Comments

I have been feeling pretty down lately. I have realized I am not the biggest fan of my job anymore, I hangout with people who are toxic to me, and I cannot seem to write anymore. I am very tired all the time, and I know I need to get out more than I already do.

So today to try and help myself with becoming happier, I have decided to make a list of some of the things that make me happy.

Cupcakes: Our First Time at Flavory Cupcakery

12:12 PM Unknown 0 Comments

The other day my mom and I went to Flavory Cupcakery in Bel Air. We ordered the 1/2 dozen option, where we picked 6 cupcakes for $16.00. They had about 10 flavors to choose from the day we went. The cupcakes tasted fantastic (especially the Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor). The only downfall of these cupcakes was the price. Individually, each cupcake cost $3.00, which I personally think was a bit high (but then again, the taste was exceptional).

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part Poster

So you guys don't know this about me, but I LOVE The Hunger Games! I read all of the books in the span of a week (while being a full-time college student and having a part-time job) back in the Fall of 2011. I initially picked up The Hunger Games from Barnes & Nobles when one of my favorite singers, Liz from Megan and Liz, tweeted about her excitement for the casting of the movie.

Inspiration of the Week: Clark Little (The Man Who Gets Inside The Waves)

Clark Little taking a photo of himself in the water at the beach.

You may have seen Clark Little mentioned in the trending topics on Facebook this past Tuesday. If not, let me bring you up to speed. Clark Little is a professional photographer who takes photography to a whole new level. He takes pictures of waves, but not from the outside. He gets inside of the waves, taking pictures of shorebreak waves.

Life Reflection: A Home Cooked Meal

10:37 PM Unknown 0 Comments

Mom serving a home cooked meal

Tonight I realized how important family is to me. I spent seven hours at work today. I came home feeling tired and ready to sleep. However, I knew that my mom had invited my neighbors (Mr. Jeff and my non-biological, but really my youngest brother, Ven) over for dinner tonight (because they are incapable of cooking anything other than scrambled eggs and hotdogs while Mrs. Noy (my other mother) is out of town). I walked into my house to find my mom working on the feast she made for Mr. Jeff, Ven, and me. She spent hours looking up this recipe for a chicken, potato, and bacon dish. She made broccoli, salad, and garlic bread, and took everyone's personal tastes into consideration (we had three kinds of salad dressing to choose from). She had set the table and cleaned up after herself, so the dishes would not pile up on us after our feast.

Fahion Haul: Kohl's T-Shirts, Sweaters, Dresses, Tank Tops, Cardigans, Shorts, Skirts, & Scarves!

10:00 AM Unknown 0 Comments

Hello!

I hope you are enjoying your Wednesday. Today's post is a Fashion Haul. I went to Kohl's yesterday and acquired some new pieces for my clothing collection. I typically wear darker colors, as I feel they look better on me. I stuck to my darker colors this shopping trip, except for a neon yellow tank top. All of the items were found in the Junior's Department, except for the sweater. The sweater was found in the clearance section of the Women's Department. I find that the best items are buried in the sale racks. Each item listed below is on sale right now. Here are the items I bought with pictures and the link to them on Kohl's official website:
